Here are the goals we hope to accomplish with the Max Conrad website:

• Keep the memory of this great man alive, for the young and old. • To show the world that we had a hero in Winona who risked his life several times to save other people. • I see this giving Winona more recognition with the aviation community. Maybe a fly-in breakfast during Steamboat, Grand Excursion, Shakespere Festival, and for those that may not know how wonderful Winona is to visit. • Max tried to begin the Winona Experiment in Winona to have young people build a full-size airplane, but it proved to be too expensive. Winona Experiment II with model planes could run on a shoestring budget.
